PlayFirst has done it again with another great adventure with our friend Flo as she helps tackle the Hotel industry in the latest game Hotel Dash: Suite Success! Flo starts off by helping her friend Quinn by building a hotel business to include honeymoon packages, but as usual, the hotel she is starting off with needs some help! As with all the Dash games, there will be unique challenges that Flo needs to address along the way including earning upgrades for her hotels, dealing with guests that annoy one another and even ghosts!
Hotel Dash: Suite Success comes with two game play modes; the first is the traditional story mode where you assist Flo through the entire storyline which consists of running five different hotels, each having ten levels to complete to make the hotel a success. The story mode also comes with two achievement levels, you can just win the level, or, you can work to achieve an “expert” achievement in each level by perfecting your game play. The second game play option is endless mode, which is just a “survive as long as possible” game play scenario. Personally, I almost found the endless mode a bit more fun to play since the story mode is pretty easy and the endless mode starts to really ramp up the challenge.
The key to high scores and “expert mode” success is knowing your hotels clients. Hotel Dash: Suite Success includes several different hotel guests, each with their own unique attributes. Some clients come in large groups which need to be placed in large rooms. Some have special personality needs that need to be accommodated like some hotel guests are very impatient and need to be serviced quickly to keep them happy while others make visits to the pool which require fresh towels or new pillows.
The second most important success factor in Hotel Dash: Suite Success is upgrades! While there are numerous visual upgrades to make your hotel look more impressive, some of the key upgrades you must focus on early in each level are the ones that will help Flo get job done more efficiently. Upgrading her cart so she can carry more items at once is one of the most important upgrades to make early on, as well as upgrading the elevators so they move faster, and upgrading Flo’s shoes so she walks faster as well.
Overall, Hotel Dash: Suite Success continues to build on the great click management / time management game play style that has made the other Dash style games (Diner Dash, Wedding Dash) huge hits for casual gamers. Everyone in the family can dive right into the game with the younger children being challenged appropriate for their level and enjoying the funny characters, while the adult games finding enough challenge to keep them addicted through all five hotels!
